Pitchfork.tv: Faces in the Crowd- The Hold Steady
One of my favorite features of Pitchfork.tv is “Faces in the Crowd,” a show where a few fans are hand-picked from the audience of a show to go backstage and pick their favorite artist’s brains. The most recent episode features two folks talking to Craig Finn of the Hold Steady, one of my favorite bands. One of the fans asks only about Finn’s stance on homelessness and religion in social services. Craig’s response? “That’s a pretty heavy question!” But then he goes on to link his answer to his music, and quite convincingly. Awesome. Check it out HERE.
