Brilliant review until the admonition against A Hundred Million Suns. Shame on you! If you’ll give it half a chance you’ll find the CD is a real gem. Good movers (Disaster Button, Please Just Take These Photos From My Hands, Take Back the City) interspersed among lovely tunes containing some of the most achingly beautiful images Gary has penned. It’s nearly a year since it’s release and still it’s a daily favourite in our home. Simply stunning!

Hey there!

I’m a huge Killers fan(Just like a lot of people, I guess). And, yes, I hadn’t expected a Bright Eyes cover…But I really liked it. It’s very different from the original, and has a lot of energy, I guess.

Their choice was more interesting than U2, Springsteen, etc. in my opinion. Covering older songs is good, as it gives the younger listeners a chance to hear some music they probably won’t have heard before, but I love it when bands cover more recent songs, too.
